When spring is blooming, I suddenly have the urge to step outside looking fresh and feminine. I reach for pastels, florals, lace and dainty accessories. If you steer clear from florals and lace, you can let your femininity shine through delicate pastel colours. They are clean and minimal silhouettes. This skirt from Philosophy is exactly that. The gentle pleats, cinched waist, and the pastel shade just screams modern femininity. When the skirt just moves so effortlessly, you need a little less to top it off. Had it been any other given day, I would agree…but spring has thinking of embellished tops, embroidered details and wild prints lately. SO, I threw on this embellished top also by Philosophy.
Shopping at Winners has become a hobby as it’s the closest store to my house. Oops. Just kidding. I am always on the prowl for deals and pieces that will last me awhile. I usually cover the full store from beauty to the shoes to jewelry and accessories. Every aisle until I find something my heart desires. Wow. Should I be checking into Shopaholic anonymous asap? You and my husband both. hehe. I sound like I buy the whole store but in reality, things that I have from Winners are actually accumulated over time.
When I go to Winners, I have to have patience, time and a quick eye. Some may find it stressful walking into this store, but for myself, I actually find it quite relaxing. Some people will go to the spa to relax, or take back a drink or two. I on the other hand, will walk around the mall until my knees, heels and toes are numb.
These are the first few pieces I’ve owned from Philosophy and it wasn’t even planned. Their line is the definition of flirty and feminine. The quality isn’t bad either!
